ZONE 23: TEES RIVERSIDE INTERMODAL PARK (TRIP)

Situated right in the heart of Port of Middlesbrough, this facility is close to the river while also benefiting from the competitive rates of off-dock storage.

This freeport zone is also close to Tees Container Terminal (TCT) 1&2, which are the northern gateways for European trade. This enables businesses to import containers of goods and potentially delay payment of import tariffs while they are stored at TRIP.

The terminal is also close to the main arterial links into the UK for onward delivery. TRIP also benefits from direct rail access to the East Coast Mainline, providing intermodal connectivity across the UK.

The three-acre storage pad is constructed of heavy duty hard standing and is equipped with an interceptor drainage system.

Additional laydown and storage areas are available adjacent to the facility for vanning and de-vanning containers. Heavy plant equipment such as reach stackers and forklift trucks, with lifting capacity of up to 45 tonnes are on hand to provide these services.
