Port of Middlesbrough’s intermodal park, TRIP is located just 10 minutes away from Teesport making it one of the closest off dock storage facilities, capable of handling 40/45 ft hi-cube containers.
The purpose-built, TRIP intermodal container terminal based on Port of Middlesbrough’s 40-hectare site, has excellent access to the main arterial transport routes including the A66 , A19 and M1. It also boasts direct rail connectivity to the east coast mainline.
The intermodal park is located just 10 minutes away from Teesport making it one of the closest off dock storage facilities, handling 40/45 hi-cube (HC) containers. With experience delivering to all sites across the UK and with over 15,000 containers successfully delivered/ loaded a year it isn’t hard to see why the intermodal park is a base for over 50 major container customers.
Port of Middlesbrough also has a trailer fleet capable of moving all sizes of tank and containers including 20, 30 and 40ft tipper containers and with additional services, including devanning, stacking and reloading capabilities for shifted and unsafe loads.
The intermodal park also offers empty and loaded Iso Tank and container storage including hazardous contents storage and handling along with container liner removal and container lining (bag in a box). The facility has capacity to store in excess of 500 tanks and containers at any given time and also boasts a number of laydown areas allowing it to handle and store various products including steel pipes and steel sections for containerisation and onward delivery.
TRIP can also cater for all devanning, stacking and reloading of shifted and unsafe loads.
